Singer-songwriter, writer and cultural entrepreneur - Yael Nachshon Levin, was born in Israel and acquired her musical education at the New School University in NYC, where she studied with legends such as Sheila Jordan, Reggie Workman, and Jane Ira Blum.
So far Yael has published 6 solo albums and participated in many others.
After moving to Berlin in 2016, Yael founded the nonprofit cultural salon FRAMED e.V, which was established in her own living room , with the vision of bringing different people together, and allowing the power of Music and Art to do its magic, with uniquely curated events, in intimate settings. Yael is the artistic director of FRAMED till today.
As a writer, Yael had a weekly column in the Berliner Zeitung with journalist Anja Reich (2017-2019). Together they published their book “Getauschte Heimat” in November 2019 with the publishing house Aufbau Verlag.
In 2024-5 Yael founded Migdalor, a Berlin based company that curates, incubates and brings to the world the brightest, most exciting ideas, coming from Israeli cultural entrepreneurs. Migdalor supports them on their journey to fulfill their potential by investing, mentoring and guiding them to success.
