Singer-songwriter Yael Nachshon Levin was born in Israel and acquired her musical education in the New School University in NYC, where she studied with legends such as Sheila Jordan, Reggie Workman, and Jane Ira Blum. 

 

Yael is also the founder and artistic director of the nonprofit cultural salon FRAMED e.V, which was established in 2017 with the vision of bringing together great people to celebrate live music and art in uniquely curated events in intimate setting.

 

As a writer, Yael had a weekly column in the Berliner Zeitung with journalist Anja Reich (2017-2019). Together they published their book “Getauschte Heimat” on November 2019 with the publishing house Aufbau Verlag.
