Tigers and Hummingbirds is a musical illustration of my personal healing process. Dealing with CPTSD (complex post-trauma) is a lifetime journey one can’t handle alone.
I had been hiding my suffering for many years. About two years ago, after facing my personal ‘dead end’, I made a vow to dedicate myself to my own healing. This was the most significant step forward.
That was the beginning of a long and winding road - and an ongoing one - of searching the source of suffering in me, searching for ways to heal and hoping to find some light in the darkness that took hold of me for so long. Along this road I have found incredible people who have guided me in their own way and knowledge with compassion and dedication.
This album is the result of just that journey, with which I hope to encourage you, the listener, to trust your gut feeling, to acknowledge your pain, and to know you are not alone.
There are ways to heal, There is light, and above all there is love.
“There’s a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in” (Leonard Cohen).
